The Pan-European Conference on Digital Education is an international online event streamed live on Facebook and YouTube, typically gathering more than 200 participants from across Europe. It brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to exchange ideas, showcase inspiring practices, and explore the future of digital learning in a European context.
During the conference, we will introduce the EU-GREW initiative and present an example of good practice focusing on European rivers — examining them both as environmental victims of climate change and human impact, and as powerful case studies for sustainable solutions. The presentation will highlight how digital tools, interdisciplinary learning, and student-led inquiry can foster environmental awareness, European values, and active citizenship.
Through this contribution, the aim is to demonstrate how local ecological topics can be transformed into meaningful European learning experiences that connect sustainability, digital competence, and collaborative problem-solving across borders. The official programme is announced seven days before the event, allowing participants to prepare, promote selected sessions, and engage their networks in advance.
